Polycaprolactone light sabres

A wonderful material! See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycaprolactone for more details. This softens at 62 degrees C, and so you can just drop the beads into hot water and when they go clear, then just take them out, squeeze out the water and shape by hand. They don’t burn, but get a grown up to help if you have very thin skin. This stuff is sold as ‘Polymorph’ and Maplins will charge you £18 for 500g, or online you can pay just over half that. These are lit from below by a strong flash. The initial reason is that the background was full of people bending over and talking to children, children, and various forms of chaos, so I though, why not make it all turn black? Once I tried it however, I liked the look, and went off to find more things to photgraph this way.
