DeerFever Update

DeerFever is currently in an update staus.

Broken into two different phases, we have completed the first and initial phase of creating the format and adding the information content.

Phase two, in progress now, is developing the product pages.

We will be breaking the product pages and the informational pages apart for the new build. We will agressively promote both areas between the two assuring the opportunity for exposure and ineteraction.

As noted in some earlier network memos, we plan to expand the network into avenues that stray away from the typical main outdoor theme. In the popularity of this decision we have created a new project that we were holding for some time now without performing any notable work available to the public. At this point we have recently pursued this new domain with a bit more vigor.

Commission Sports will consist mainly of updated sports news, mainly team sports, and complimentary sporting goods offered from reputable distributors available to our visitors for online shopping.

First off, the news mentioned earlier will be streamed into the website via rss feeds from trusted and reliable sources such as ESPN and direct feeds from places like the National Football League whenever applicable. We are trying to divide the time between user content and monetary content, ie: product pages, to create a controlled balance during the initial build. We do expect that in time the product pages will heavily outweigh informational pages.

About the product pages: We have begun with apparel. More specifically apparel from your major sports such as the NBA, NFL, MLB, etc. In the grand scheme this build will expand into actual sporting goods such as baseball pitching machines, autographed memorabilia, exercise fitness machines, hocket equipment, and more.

Outdoor News Daily is our latest build and we believe from the domain name that it’s intent and purpose are self explanatory. However, some of the goals and possibilites for interaction may not be quite as evident during your initial viewing so we will outline the qualities of this domain.

Besides the obvious of posting the latest outdoor news we also offer the opportunity to work together with businesses who rely on website exposure for their company. We encourage you to submit your own press releases regarding your latest offers found on your website providing they pertain to or have an affiliation with the outdoors. Our categorical news items cover a wide range of topics so we should have no problem placing your press release in an appropriate area.

Your latest club news or functions are also welcome for submission. If you promote an outdoor function that deals with the theme of our news site we would be willing to review your promotional statement or release for inclusion.

Outdoor News Daily also offers the readers a chance to receive updates via an rss feed reader or a basic email subscription daily newsletter. Your daily newsletter would contain all of the news posts published for that day and delivered directly to the address submitted during the sign-up process. The newsletter is in a “text format” with hyperlinks back to each news item and a brief description of that particular piece of news.
