Everyone is concerned what types of information is collected when they visit most any website, and rightfully so. We can’t speak for every site but, for any sites found here in our network, we have provided a list of information that is viewed.

To begin with, individual information is not collected other than your email address, if provided, and your IP address, during registration. Your email address is used to send a confirmation and verification of the registration process. This helps us eliminate other people trying to falsely register another individual. We never share, sell, or distribute, your email address. Period! Our only interaction with your email address is during the registration process or if you have requested to receive materials from us regarding our network websites.

Your IP address is collected, during registration, to allow us to moderate users who are adhering to less than proper actions within the site by banning that particular IP address. That specific IP address is like a phone number being blocked. Once we apply that number to our IP Deny Manager it renders that computer unable to connect to the site. If you simply visit the sites within our network neither of these are collected for internal use.

Other information that is collected is not individual but, it is viewed as a group. For instance, we can view through our statistics tracking program which browser is the most popular according to our visitors. We can see basics like most popular screen size, countries visitors originate from, how many people visit per day, how many pages are viewed and which were the most popular. We can also see which search engine sent the most traffic or, which websites are sending us referrals. These are basic numbers that bundle all users into one statistic rather than individual. Viewed as a group we receive a larger picture of the total viewing audience.

You may wonder what we do with this bundled information. That particular information is used to build our site or make changes. It helps us track what most people are interested in viewing and allows us to build those areas with the confidence that they will be utilized. Typically this information is viewed daily but implemented on a monthly basis.
